The Price Of Inclusion

The witch dumped her old sidekick for a new one.
The old sidekick was most distraught.
She tried all forms of flattery and bribery but nothing helped her get cozy again with the witch.
The witch seized this opportunity to tell the former sidekick she would be her favorite again if she could bring her the hearts of two young children and their parents.
The sidekick has been on the prowl lately looking for her prize.
The witch watches from the sidelines sniggering at the situation she has created.
"Look at her, she's like an old-fashioned wind-up toy. Wind her up and let her go. She keeps looping around the room until she hits a wall, ha ha ha ha ha," said the witch to once upon a stooge.
I don't believe she's said this to her new sidekick or ever will for another couple of years or three.
She has uses for her yet.
She won't be showing her what's coming next.
